Hobbing and skiving

O.M.D. is a specialist in hobbing and skiving processes and can provide its customers with a complete array of solutions to create their final products. The experience gained by our company in the production of gears and screws for the most diverse application fields allows us to take care of every order, from the taking in charge to the final delivery, always providing the best manufacturing and finishing for every different need.

Our comany has 7 CNC Gelason hobbing for the production of gears, with modules from 0.3 to 2, and screws:

• 5 Hobbing CNC GLEASON P60
• 1 Hobbing CNC GLEASON P90
• 1 Hobbing CNC GLEASON 100 PS

Our machineries of last generation also allow us to complete every manufacturing with skiving and power skiving processes.  Therefore it is possible to carry out high precision machining even on small gears and on every occasion where other processes might run the risk of involving parts that have not to be touched.
